Fortunantly the SJWs don't have as much influence here as they do in Britian or the US. What about the embassies that are now with out their mother countries, i doubt the United States embassy will be able to do anything as in the United States that does not yet exist, there are only 2,302 people living there, of which 300 are living in the New Netherlands (New York). They Will have a Choice to make: they can either go to America and attempt to start the revolution 150 years early or stay in the Netherlands and carve out a new life for themselves. |

The HRE at least Will never recover from the the rest of Europe dumping their wars into the country, especially With the Netherlands ppresent to take big bites of the country whenever they can. As for France, England, Spain, Sweden, Poland-Lithuania and the Ottoman Empire? carefull appliance of real politik and divide and conquer politics could Ensure they Will be to busy fighting each other to focus on us. |

Well, they are colonists so presumbly they can take care of themselves. Well would they want to live under 2018 laws wich might have some things like rights for everybody and all such things.
What do you mean take away our slaves! How dare you!  Not to mention the treatment of surviving natives and questions like religious tolerance, along with factors such as racial and sexual equality and the like. |

Fat chance of that. The colonists are so dependent on aid from the assorted motherlands that they would probably give the idea short shift. Plus apart from the older Spanish ones most of the colonies would have been born in Europe and many might well be planning to return at some stage.

No doubt, especially once they start realising the huge cultural differences. Both Protestants and Catholics are likely to view the 2018 Dutch as demoniacally inspired given a lot of their ideas. However all but the most stupid are going to realise quickly that they don't have a cat in hell's chance of winning a military conflict.
One big problem is what happens with disease? How quickly can the Netherlands impose border restrictions and prepare for encountering plague, smallpox, assorted ancient [to the 2018 people ] versions of flu, measles etc.
Coupled with this, once people start finding out about the Netherlands, including its tolerance and living standards what happens when people start seeking to move to the Netherlands?
