What if, by sheer luck and happenstance, Kenobi kills Vader in their duel in Star Wars? (AKA Episode IV: A New Hope)

Well the down side would be that Vader isn't about for his final turning to support his son in killing the emperor. Assuming of course that Kenobi dies before he can escape the death star as otherwise he might play a major role himself. Plus there is potential for plenty of other butterflies.

Thanks for the link Zyobot , will check it out. You're welcome. It doesn't have the most detailed writing in the world, but it seems good enough to at least offer one potential answer to the prompt here.
To actually address the obvious implications of this, Luke and Vader never meet and discover the other's true identity. And the younger Skywalker is bound to flip out if and when he learns that his father is the same Dark Lord that Kenobi killed on the Death Star.

I always felt that in the first movie, Kenobi was certain he was going to die. So I would argue that he was "destined" to die aboard the Death Star during that adventure. Perhaps one of the hapless stormtroopers got off a lucky shot.
Remember that even before Vader struck him down, Kenobi was surrounded by stormtroopers who had cut off his path to escape to the Falcon.

And in the Rebels cartoon, Kenobi killed Maul without a problem. True, but Maul is a) a lower-tier combatant than Vader and b) probably fatigued from his hiking in Tatooine's desert. Plus, he had no extra back up in the form of armed henchmen to help keep Kenobi on his toes, whereas Vader did.

This time, Maul doesn't seem to have had a vehicle to traverse the desert, leaving him to walk his way to Kenobi on foot while being bombarded by scorching heat and parched dryness.

Ore not forget the past things that have happened to him, that also might have taken a toll to him.

Ore not forget the past things that have happened to him, that also might have taken a toll to him. Without a doubt. If anything, ruminating on what he went through would probably make him all the more demented, crazed and unable to think rationally before preparing for his inevitable confrontation with Kenobi. Maybe that had a hand in Maul's downfall later in the night, if I had to guess.
Still, I suppose we're getting too off-track here.

Right, so Obi-Wan kills Darth Vader on the Death Star, then he and Luke have to escape it, then they will have to destroy it, am i right.

Right, so Obi-Wan kills Darth Vader on the Death Star, then he and Luke have to escape it, then they will have to destroy it, am i right. That seems like the gist of it to me. Eventually, though, Kenobi may have to explain to Luke that the black-clad Sith he killed on the Death Star...was his (and Leia's) actual father .
And the Emperor will no doubt sense Vader's untimely death, meaning that not only will he have to recruit a new apprentice, but also that he'll step up his ruthlessness and lack of mercy in crushing the Rebellion once and for all. So in the long term, I fear that killing Vader could actually be a bad thing--and not just because we won't get to see his redemption ITTL, either.

Do you think Obi-Wan will tell Luke and Leia that their are brother and sister after they have escaped the Death Star.
