Sometime this week: I'll continue Chapter 1 by doing a segment on Raymond Burr & how his other TV Show "Ironside" will have scheduling conflicts with "PM".
Plus the 10th Season will be shown in color.

Raymond Burr had been gaining popularity since getting the main leading character "Perry Mason" & also won several awards along the way. It was noted during this time Burr had to be persuaded into agreeing to do a 10th Season due to lobbying from executive producer Gail Jackson & many others. NBC had been aggressive in convincing him to doing a new TV Show "Ironside", so this impact his scheduling conflict in doing both TV Shows at one time. |

Beginning next week: I'll be doing a segment on Barbara Hale, who'll be doing half of Season 10 before her character, Della Street gets a new job working for Gordon Industries.
Rumors swirling Della will be replaced by someone little bit younger by either Jana Taylor or Mary Ann Mobley.

Season 10 & Episodes review list
10:00 AM PST, June 5th, 1966

Executive producer Gail Patrick Jackson announced in an impromptu press conference she & others of the production staff are currently working on the episodes & storylines for Season 10, which Jackson announced it'll debut with a two-part opening episode "The Case of the Framed Olympian" in mid September of 1966.
Among the list of cast members set for Season 10:
1.) Raymond Burr as Perry Mason (although several guest stars will fill in for Perry in several episodes)
2.) Barbara Hale as Della Street: although she'll appear in 6-12 episodes before taking a new job with Gordon Industries.
3.) William Hopper returns as Paul Drake: he'll be involved in solving more cases with Perry & Della, etc.,
4.) William Talman returns as DA Hamilton Burger.
5.) Richard Anderson returns as Lieutenant Steve Drumm: although depending on short-term contract, he'll be probably phased out later in Season 10 or Season 11.
6.) Mary Ann Mobley replaces Connie Cezon's Gertie; Mobley will portray Marian Reeves as the receptionist for Perry's law firm office. Once Hale leaves in the middle of Season 10, Mobley will be upgraded to being Della's replacement.
7.) Jana Taylor will portray Gertie's daughter Rachel DeGarmo, who'll appear sometime around Season 10. |

She was at a local ComicCon a couple years ago, but the line was so long I couldn't get her autograph. But she still looked good!!
