The Mongolian death worm reminds me a bit of the creatures in Tremor. Gods there's some bloody stupid creatures there. 
just showed on TV as we speak. It actually reached a 7th movie as the final conclusion to a 30 year franchise. Funny about the Mongolian death worm movie is a rip-off of a B-movie. LOL |

Bloody hell. I saw Tremors 2 a few years ago and it wasn't that good but didn't know there were any others made let alone 5 more! I mean the 1st had some very dodgy points such as the classic line from the female scientist ' There's no trace of them in the fossil records - so they must pre-date the fossil record'!!! [Even for Hollywood that is asinine]. At the same time it had humour and some good action moments. I think I will give any later ones a miss if they come up on TV here.

I could agree to that. The first Tremors to the third movie is actually great. From that point on, they started doing those typical SyFy style CGI. The following isn't a B-movie but it's from a Filipino TV series with bad acting and special effects that make it in-par with a SyFy TV movie. It's called Victor Magtanggol. The series tackles on Norse mythology in a Philippine setting. Expectedly, Filipino netizens have slammed it as blatant plagiarism/copycat of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Thor and have joked/memed/ridiculed it for its bad special effects. Marvel Philippines have kept silent on the issue, probably because it is not worth their time. LOL Always liked Tremors 1 to 3, after that, it jumped the shark for me. As far as sequels go Tremors 2 "AfterShocks" and Tremors 4 "The Legend Begins" are first rate IMHO at least. I have enjoyed both multiple times.
Helen Shaver was my favorite cast member of "AfterShocks", probably because she reminds a lot of my dear wife.
IMHO, Billy Drago stole every scene he was in as the gun fighter in "The Legend Begins". Never knew he had it in him to play comedy so well.

Those films are from The Asylum, which already is notorious for producing mockbusters every time there is a major disaster, sci-fi, alien, creature, or superhero film. This is intended to dupe viewers into watching the mockbuster rather than the real title. Usually, grandmothers trying to give gifts to grandchildren fall prey to this marketing strategy. As usual, The Asylum has faced several lawsuits for titling their films close the title of a major release.
