A row of light machine guns, probably of Czech manufacture, taken from Indonesian infiltrators following their capture by members of 3RAR during Operation 'Flower' on 29 October 1964. All 52 infiltrators, along with their captured arms and equipment, were conveyed to the police compound at Sungai Rambai, where they were held under guard by Malaysian Security Forces.

13 NPAs yield with war weapons in Misamis Oriental and Surigao City - November 19, 2020

The recovered items included eight high-powered firearms composed of 2 AK47 rifles, two M16 Armalite rifles, 1 Garand rifle, one M14 rifle, 1 Carbine and one M653 rifle, assorted live ammunition, and other war materials.

Recovered by the soldiers of the the 95th Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army included one M16 rifle, one M14 rifles, bomb making materials (explosive components, grenades, and a capacitor), one cellphone with an electric cord, and an ICOM battery park with charger. These were surrendered by members known as "Ka Ganer" (regular member of the NPA since 2019) and "Ka Abner" (member of the People's Militia) in Barangay Buyasan, San Mariano, Isabela last December 30, 2020.

"The actions of the former rebels are testament that they are already fed up with the deceptions and false promises of the terrorist group. Further, it proved their commitment and sincerity to return to the folds of the law and abandon their armed struggle." said MGen Laurence E. Mina, PA, commander of the 5th Infantry Division.

A Jolen Gun is a type of marble gun/spud gun/PVC gun that fires marbles or pellets propelled by denatured alcohol.
It is a common hobby here in the Philippines to make a Jolen Gun especially in the rural areas where hunting is ideal. However, it also presents some legal problems due to accidental misfires resulting in death and injury.
