We are speaking about the CCP, they do a total blockade of Wuhan and say that something has broken out and that no people are allowed in ore out until they have solved the problem.

I wonder what becomes of foreign nationals and consulates there. For sure the State Department would wonder what become of their consulate in the city.

  As I understand it from a quick read they have some details, especially about the attack of the main monster but kept secret things like the parasites so that came as a distinct surprise in New York. 

  Since the US one came from the sea how did the Wuhan one arrive?  Has it emerged from underground, landed from the sky in some what or what?  That might give some ideas on their origins, although since that part of the story is James G,'s addition that could be largely up to him.

Good work here. I remember Call of Duty using Hammerdown Protocol in D.C. when the Russians (somehow) invaded as well.

B-52s flying wing-to-wing, with B-2s and B-1Bs there too, dropping unguided Mk.82s on everything below was exactly how I imagined it, probably with C-130s dropping MOABs too. There wouldn't be much left after that.
