What if the U.S.S. Enterprise encountered the Death Star, during the end of the five year mission?
The Death Star used its superlaser in its minimal power setting to totally pulverize the primary hull of a Federation starship, both leaving the secondary hull completely intact.

I think regardless of a bias toward Star Trek it would have to be the Death Star, unless it was already destroyed. Simply has too much firepower plus the Enterprise crew wouldn't know about its specially designed weak spot or, from the discussion on that site be able to attack it. |

But it is Kirk we speak about, he would as always save the day in the last second. |
