The Favourite. I saw this on Friday night. It wasn't my choice to watch it. I could say that the film is entertaining and you don't need to know all the history before you watch it despite it being an historical drama. However... the language used within was quite shocking. I am not easily offended but the sexual crudeness, all from the women characters as well, was quite something. Worse than that I think was the particular manner in which violence was shown when used against female characters within, against Emma Stone in particular. Several times she was attacked by the lead male. It wasn't especially strong violence but rather something different. He whacked her in one instance and pushed her over in another. The way it was done seemed to be an effort at humour because she wasn't badly hurt. But this just wasn't right. I'm struggling to explain it here, I know. All I can say was that this violence just wasn't cool at all.

I saw it two days ago and likewise enjoyed the hell out of it. Hailee Steinfeld was very good as Charlie and the robot designs were very good. I also saw Aquaman, which I enjoyed, and Into the Spider-Verse, which was phenomenal.

See it when you can. Hailee Steinfeld also voices Gwen Stacy in that movie. She's having a good couple of months.

Glass This is M. Night Shyamalan's latest film. It is a continuation of the films Unbreakable and Split of his too. It was something I wanted to see despite the mixed reviews and I am glad I saw it. There was a lot of disappointment with many bits though and it isn't the best film ever done... still, it was okay. McAvoy's performance was remarkable.

Well what do you expect, you can not beat the originals. Especially With a reboot that was less focused on being a good Movie and more on mocking men.

I watched Election yesterday. It is a 1999 film but I have never seen it. I read that it was a modern classic, a real cult film. Na. It's no good and a big disappointment.

So a waste of 103 minutes of your life then. In some ways, yes. However, it made me sleepy and thus I had an afternoon nap. So that is a good thing overall.
