Well that it will, people who want to read (do not know how old Dutch compares to current Dutch) will have to know the Dutch Language in order to read the books  that we have.

I think it is like how ye olde English compares to modern English, it is wierd but understandeble.

Older kinds of Dutch aren't that hard. Of course, I might be biased because I always read and heard 17th century Dutch, and seriously, it's not that difficult. The grammar might be a little more complicated, but that's easy enough to pick up. And the other way around will be a lot easier I guess.

What planes is the air force going to use in the future? The F-16s are almost fourty years old and can't fly forever and the F-35s are to maintaince-heavy to keep flying.


Personally, I think that prop/turboprop plane that specialises in ground-attack would be more then suficent for the coming decades. Other fighters are still centuries of from being invented and anything supersonic would be overkill anyway.

I remember and this YouTube clip will show, that a person is building a fully flying replica of a Fokker D.21, so the Neterlands can build a flying plane with out a problem, we do not need anything as advance as the F-16.

That could work, but maybe Upgrade it With an all-metal airframe, more powerful engine, bomb- or missile racks, radar and a retracteble undercarriage?

Well lets see what do we need.

First we need the plans to build a modern Fokker D. 21 variant, we have that and also a copy of a D. 21 at the Nationaal Militair Museum at Soesterberg.

Second we need engines, well we have DAF Trucks and VDL Nedcar among other might be able to figure out how to build a engine for a modern Fokker D. 21 variant.

Third we need Fokker Technologies, they have experience in building structures, landing gear and electrical systems.

And Fourth we need some machine guns, i doubt we can cannibalize the F-16s as despite thier age they are still able to dominate the skies for years to come.

Also i forget, we do have Royal Netherlands Air Force Historical Flight, they have these planes we can use: Royal Netherlands Air Force Historical Flight planes

I am certain we can overcome that Challenge. In fact, in the coming years we might see the rise of a military-indutrial complex as the military industry is going to be very aware of how important they are in a strategic sense and use that as leverage to get big contracts.

Ore we can always hire mercananries, think there are plenty we can hire, we have more than 612.5 tonnes of gold would be worth some 400 dollars per ounce in 1615, i would assume we can buy a lot with that.

That amount of gold can be expanded pretty quickly if the navy starts raiding Spanish treasure fleets. Remember that it is war and during war the enemies supply lines are fair game.

Wonder how much damage a Spanish galleon of War armed with a broadside of guns can do against a De Zeven Provinciën-class frigate before its decides to shoot some rounds in the top of the ship (to disable it, not sink it).
