So This thread is Bits & pieces or Historical Crumbs, you can place little facts ore events that happen in the past in this thread, so lets start.
On 23 July of the 1939 New York City Almanac readers were reminded that if they had a dead horse to place it in the street at once with a tag giving name and address; if not removed at twilight, put lights around properly protected carcass till called for. This according to Sanitation code, Sec. 9; Art.2.
