Robert Kenendy thought of running for president of the united states. but decided not too. His brother ted suggested 1972 would be a good year. Senator Mcarthy had much support but at the 1968 democratic despite mcarthy"s strong folowing President Johnson arived at the convention meetign with loud boo"s and took the nominatation.. Johnson was warned that there would be threats to his safety at 1968 DNC. There was an attempt on the president's life :eek: but Johnson's secret service was able to deescalate the situation.

Leno meanwhile was an outsider like Nader, and they got along better. Nader agreed to not campaign/advertise in states where Leno did better and vice versa. Leno would appoint Greens in the cabinet, with Nader being the SoS. A website was even made for vote-swapping to prevent a spoiler. Nader said “In Great Britain the two third parties the SDP and the Liberals created an alliance and won. We can do the same in America.”
Despite many people saying Alan Keyes or Daschle would win, Leno took home the presidency. Brown congratulated Leno, being sympathetic to third parties. Former president Spiro Agnew and rapper Kanye West campaigned with him, Agnew saying that "We need Alan Keyes to save us from the moonbeam era! and West saying that he and Keyes had "dragon energy." However, many people didn't like his extreme views on "homosexuality" and the abolishment of the income tax. The Libertarians made their pick a surprise, allowing the media to speculate for months as the Democratic and Republican nominations were all but decided. Many thought Howard Stern would run again, or William Weld would defect to the party. However, the pick was Jay Leno of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Jerry Seinfeld after finishing the Seinfeld show took over in a convenient move. Conan O'Brien moved to Fox. Soon after, the Libertarians rose in the polls to be the only third party to be ahead in a presidential poll (other than Ross Perot in 1988). Alan Keyes would jump in a mosh-pit on Michael Moore’s show with Rage Against The Machine.
For VP, Daschle picked Jim Guy Tucker (a friend of the late Bill Clinton), Leno picked Kenny Kramer (Michael Richards starting campaigning with him), Keyes picked Buddy Cianci (the Rhode Island Governor), and Nader picked Hunter Thompson (former Colorado Senator).
The debates would be intense. Daschle, Leno, Keyes, and Nader were all popular with their party bases and they had a lot riding on them.

It was clear that Nader couldn’t win outright but that he would be kingmaker. Nader used this position to attempt and create a united front against Alan Keyes. Negotiations with Daschle quickly failed as the establishment Daschle disliked Nader and thought the Democrats were certain to win. Leno meanwhile was an outsider like Nader, and they got along better. Nader agreed to not campaign/advertise in states where Leno did better and vice versa. Leno would appoint Greens in the cabinet, with Nader being the SoS. A website was even made for vote-swapping to prevent a spoiler. Nader said “In Great Britain the two third parties the SDP and the Liberals created an alliance and won. We can do the same in America.”
Despite many people saying Alan Keyes or Daschle would win, Leno took home the presidency. Brown congratulated Leno, being sympathetic to third parties. Leno joked that the Dead Kennedys band might be right with two Californian presidents in a row. Alan Keyes lost the White House, but was now the most important Republican upon Agnew’s death. Many said he would be like Henry Clay. “I will be back in 2004!” Keyes boldly declared.
Leno’s cabinet would have Kramer as VP, Nader at the State Department, Ron Paul at the Tresuary, Gatewood Galbraith as Attorney General, and Colin Powell at Defense.
