This is rather unorthodox compared to the other content inserted into this thread, but it concerns one of my favorite species in the Star Trek universe.

Thank you. Here's another cool lore-focused video I just found from Certifiably Ingame. Space-Food History (Star Trek Lore)Well food has indeed improved from current space food. The need for that to be the case, plus a couple of centuries of time to advance, would bring that about I imagine. I wonder how modern-day astronauts might enjoy it, in fact. Hey, that gives me a fanfiction idea in which either a 20th or 21st Century astronaut--preferably in one where Gene Roddenberry never creates it--finds himself in the Star Trek universe. What do you think?

Once they got over the initial shock and awe of being ISOTed to centuries into the future in which a utopian spacefaring society known as the United Federation of Planets reigns, he'd be sure to bombard his hosts (or captors) with endless questions.

By this, I assume you mean that humanity--comparatively utopian and enlightened as it is relative to the world they were ISOTed from--still wages war, engages in realpolitik, etcetera with the other powers of the Milky Way Galaxy. And there's still some degree of internal squabbling as well.

Also, there this video by Generation Tech I've been meaning to upload, but it's one in a series that details where certain sci-fi factions align on the political spectrum. Would it be a problem if I posted them in the Fandom board, since I'm concerned they might be a bit hot-button?
