Sadly, just about everything--from STCs to the Iron Men--was washed away in the ensuing Age of Strife, which acted as precedent for the Emperor's rise to power and by extension, the inception of the modern Milky Way galaxy. Had the cut-short Dark Age instead continued, what could've been in store for the Warhammer 40,000 universe?
Thank you in advance, Zyobot

Would the emperor still be able to get into power if the Dark Age of Technology Never Ends?

Would the emperor still be able to get into power if the Dark Age of Technology Never Ends? ...I honestly don't know. He'd still remain the godlike Psyker who likely watches and witnesses mankind's progress from afar, always waiting and prepared for the day that the galaxy might go to Hell. But seeing as the Dark Age of Technology continues ITTL, something with the scale and scope of the Age of Strife wouldn't happen. Maybe there'd be other conflicts and catastrophes that "non-Emperor" feels he should interfere in, however (i.e. further clashes with the Eldar).
