Just finished Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 2 on Netflix. Once again, it never fails to entertain and thrill me.

I've been watching The Looming Tower. It thoroughly demolishes Condi Rice.

I got started on WandaVision with my dad last night. What a surreal show, replete with all the unpredictable twists and little easter eggs that Marvel has gotten down to a science.

I've been re-watching Good Omens again. It is a religious/apocalypse-comedy. Its better the second time around.

I got around to watching Deutschland 89. Not as good as 83 but better than 86. In the opening episode, they have a scene with senior HVA people at the Stasi HQ. They are watching West German footage of the crowds at the border crossing over the other side of the Wall in Berlin. One is talking really confidently about how the border guards will obey the rules. He suddenly stops mid-sentence and screams "No, no, no" at the TV screen. We don't see what he sees but it is shown afterwards: the gates opening. Great scene. I actually felt his shock because it was set up so well.

Well if the border Guards did do their jobs we might up having seen Deutschland 91, if there was still a East Germany to speak off.

BBC 4 are running repeats of the 1990s police show Between the Lines. That was a different time! Everyone smokes, it looks all so alien too. I lived in the 90s and everything felt cutting edge but that show makes everything seem so old!
