Three mini-series I have binge-watched in the past few days. Collateral: British TV murder/conspiracy. It wasn't very good despite a lot of promise. Unbelievable: Excellent piece of TV. Really good. A subject not for all but a fine work. When They See Us: Another good show with a powerful message. However, I do feel the Trump stuff was overdone and only there because he is the current president.
Had a brief look on Wiki and it seems to have been a well received drama based on an incident in 1989. No mention of Trump at all so was something added about him in the series?

Trump was a big part of the second episode. Archive footage of his comments and actions in 1989 concerning the Central Park Jogger case is used extensively and key characters in the show mention him again and again. The message I received from watching was that Trump was responsible for getting those guys convicted... when that isn't the case at all. In the fourth episode, the story goes back to Trump again and his influence once more. My thinking is that without him being president now, none of that would be in the story and I actually don't think this show could have been made too.

OK thanks for clarifying. Suspect the latter assumption may be incorrect as its a big miscarriage of justice but definitely that Trump was so outspoken in getting the initial convictions and is now President sounds like it inflated his presence in the programme. No doubt there were a lot of other unpleasant characters called for their conviction but of course he has an even higher profile now.

I have binge-watched all of the three seasons of Fargo and found them very good even if the alien thing was a bit odd.
In addition, I have also seen all five seasons of Better Call Saul too: the Breaking Bad prequel. This deserves all the praise given to it. It very nicely explains how Jimmy McGill became Saul Goodman. The only thing I thought was weak was the Jimmy-Kim relationship as I didn't believe in her character. Regardless, it is still excellent.

I've been watching Line of Duty, a BBC show. It is something I haven't seen before despite it being a hit show in Britain. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was: I was apprehensive but wrong in what I thought it would be. Keely Hawes was brilliant.

I still remember the hype for the pilot episode of The Walking Dead 10 years ago. This premier on October 31, 2010 and was an instant hit on US Television. Here in the Philippines, the episodes would air five days after the U.S. premier. Good times before the show became unnecessarily long. 〈insert pop-up content here〉

I stopped watching in 2017 when I got busy with life. Meanwhile, the comics already ended on July 3, 2019 with a very big twist. EDIT: Here is a TWD scenario on the other forum written by kspence92 back then in 2015 www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/the-rising-dead-a-walking-dead-timeline.347634/page-1

I recently saw The Girlfriend Experience. Rather erotic, soft porn to be honest rather than a real TV show. In addition, on an entirely unrelated noted, Riley Keough is HOT.

Currently watching The Americans right now. First season is brilliant. I'm still at Episode 4. Love how the show brilliantly fits while real-life historical background events are occurring.
