   Lordroel

   Technically at this point Libya was also a part/vassal of the empire before Italy seized it in 1911 I think it was.  Also while Britain had effective control of Egypt and Cyprus they were still technically part of the Ottoman empire and until the Ottomans joined WWI Britain was making tribune payments for the latter and ensuring that the Egyptian government paid for the former.

  Also before the Balkan wars the empire had a large finger of land in Europe reaching to the Adriatic including most of Albania.  See Ottoman empire in Europe 1881 for the best map I could find quickly.  This is for 1881 but still basically accurate I think.  Also checking the Wiki entry for Crete Cretan_State_1898-1908, it could be said to be under formal Ottoman control until 1908.

  Similarly while Kuwait was a British protectorate from 1899 I think the Ottomans were still formally claiming it as one of their vassals until 1914.

   As such depending on the circumstances there could be a large area affected.

PS  Things could get very complex given the tension of Kennedy's assassination and the state of the cold war.  Also NATO Has lost Turkey, a good chunk of northern Greece along with some islands including possibly Crete.  At the largest most of the oil capacity of the region has been thrown back 60 years so simply doesn't exist.  Israel has gone so the remaining 1963 Arab will have to find another excuse for the failure of most of their states.

  On the good side the bulk of the Christians of the empire, including Armenians, Anatolian Greeks and the Assyrian Christians of Mesopotamia could avoid the OTL massacres and deportation of survivors.  Its likely however that Greece and the Soviets - the latter probably acting 'on behalf' of the Armenian SSR are likely to intervene to liberate both their 1963 territories and anything else they can claim.  Also the resources of eastern Saudi with the oil and of Egypt including the canal along with a lot of other territory up for grabs.  Iran could also play a big role here as well as they could easily grab most of Mesopotamia with very little to stop them and possibly even seek to drive for the Med or the Gulf coast of Arabia.  The latter includes a lot of Shia and also of course a lot of oil.
