But in India the term Untouchable is still going on, lucky not in Europe these days as far as i know.

  Well there are groups like the Romany/Gypsies who still face a lot of mistrust and hostility, especially in parts of eastern Europe, along with growing anti-Semitism in many areas, as well as other problems of growing intolerance.   However generally Europe and N American are still a lot less hostile to differences than most of the world.
