Inspired by the Mobiyuz Strip thread, this is a group multiverse project where everyone can write little bits of their own TL's and, just for fun, we'll number them. There are some basic ground rules. Some numbers are reserved for previously numbered TL's (ex. Timeline 31), any published literature (can't link of any at the moment) and TL 1 is OTL. Private TL's can only have cannon contributions at the behest of their owner (if one the site) or can be deemed non-cannon. Public TL's can be contributed to by anyone. You can claim one of your own TL's to be part of the project (and pick a number, preferably within the range shown), or you can write one on this thread. Thanks. List of TL's- OTL (In order to contribute here, you have to do something REALLY big)

They joined the US in 1845, left in 1850, and are among the most stable and advanced nations in the world today. History: The Republic of Texas initially had fiery relations with Mexico. After the US annexed Texas, a war with Mexico broke out. Texas in 1850 became independent with all her former territory (California met with Texas negotiated it out in Salt Lake City), as well as part of the Indian Territory. In the Louisianian-Texas War of 1864, Texas conquered most of Louisiana after said state, backed by Dixie, was angered by Texas's abolishing of slavery. They where reduced to New Orleans and some of the surrounding region. In World War One, Texas sided with Britain and France, unlike many of her Northern American neighbors. In the interwar period of 1914-1943, Texas arose to a world power level, equal to Britain. In the Second World War, Texas again allied with the British and French against a large force stretching from Germany to Japan. Texas, California, Britain, and France all worked together to develop the nuclear weapon that would end the war. In the Postwar Bliss, Texas was one of the founding eight nations of the League of Powers. Government: Based off the United States, Texas elects a President every four years (although from 1836-1845, there where three year terms). The nation is made up of _ provinces, namely: ~Bexar (Capital: San Antonio) ~Houston (Capital: Houston) ~Rio Grande (Capital: Reynosa) ~Oklahoma (Capital: Oklahoma City) ~Laredo (Capital: El Paso) ~Nuevo Mexico (Capital: Santa Fe) ~East Deseret (Capital: Denver) ~Trinity (Capital: Fort Worth) ~Arkansas (Capital: Little Rock) ~Acadinia (Capital: Shreveport) Largest Cities by Population: - Houston, Houston

- Dallas, Trinity
- Cuidad Juarez, Rio Grande
- Monterrey, Rio Grande
- Austin, Texan Capital District
- Fort Worth, Trinity
- Chihuahua, Rio Grande
- Denver, East Deseret
- El Paso, Laredo
Political Parties in Texas: Houstonian Party~ Founded by Sam Houston, the more liberal party, the main opposition party, controls roughly 33% of the Texan Congress. Lamarian Party~ Founded by Mirabeau B. Lamar, the more conservative party, the dominant ruling party in Texas since the 1970s.

Emperor George I (George Washington) 1789-1803 [1] Emperor Alexander I (Alexander Hamilton) 1803-1844 [2] Emperor Henry I (Henry Clay) 1844-1860 [3] Emperor Abraham I (Abraham Lincoln) 1860-1902 [4] Emperor Theodore I (Theodore Roosevelt) 1902-1920 [5] Emperor Franklin I (Franklin D. Roosevelt)1920-1945 [6] Emperor John I (John A. Roosevelt) 1945-1981 [7] Emperor George II 1981-2018 (George H.W. Bush) [8] Emperor George III 2018-Incumbent 2018-2020 [9] Heir to George III John 'Jeb' Bush (to be John II) Heir to Heir John II George Bush (to be George Bush IV)
[1]-After a Virginia slave revolt killed James Madison and Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton lead the Const. Conv. of 1787. The Imperial Confederation was formed. Washington was elected by the Continental Parliament to the Emperorship. He would divide America in the 16 possessions, the 13 colonies, Vermont, the Great Lakes, and Appalachia (in the South). He would alter add a 17th and 18th, with the 1800 purchase of Florida y Louisiana from Spain. He died in 1803 in his sleep. [2]-Parliament elected Alexander Hamilton the next Emperor. Under Hamilton, Slave importation was abolished and the powers of the federal government expanded. He would set a precedent that would remain unbroken until 1920, of not asking Parliament to keep the office in the family. [3]-Henry I would see the Slavery Skism, a period in which 4 Possessions revolted from the Imperial Confederation. He died soon after. [4]-Abraham I would make much civil reform, especially on Civil Rights. The Edict of Chicago would expand voting rights to all. [5]-Theodore I was seen as the Imperialist of all the Emperors. He would expand on Henry's and Abraham's expansion in the West and in the Pacific with the annexation of Liberia in Africa, which became the 27th Possession. He would ask that his fifth cousin, Franklin, become emperor [6]-The Roosevelt Dynasty continued with Franklinian Liberalism, the a doctrine mixing classical liberalism with socialism in terms of the time. He lead the Empire through the Global Conflict. [7]-John I brought an end to the Roosevelt dynasty. His leadership against the nations of Europe was seen as spotty at best, and the war in Asia and lack of American involvement would cause his choice of successor, his son, John II, to be overruled in favor of the Prime Minister George H.W. Bush. [8]-George H.W. Bush's dynasty saw the rise of prominence of Texas, and Trinity (OTL Dallas) became the new capitol of the Empire (New York City being the former). He brought conservatism to the office not ever seen, and government programs where set back to the reign of Abraham I. [9]-The most recent emperor, George III was mocked after his father's 2018 death for being King George III. This was used by the Liberals in Parliament to great avail, until, that is, George III invaded Italy to put an end to the Neoroman Movement growing there.
