A GAME NOT QUITE AN ELECTION GAME, NOT QUITE A MAP GAME, AND NOT QUITE A NATION GAME

This site, as I have seen, has very little gaming in the Shared World section. So, I had the idea for a game where the thread essentially runs the United States starting from the year 2040. This would include people running for the Presidency, Vice Presidency, Senate, Cabinets, and other positions. In order to join, please do the following:

In order to give a little context, the US has been in a political standstill starting after Bush I left office (this encompasses the modern day, yes, but keep discussion of current politics to a minimum. YOU MAY NOT RP A CURRENT POLITICIAN SERVING IN THE WHITE HOUSE, CONGRESS, OR ANY GOVERNORSHIP, NOR ANY PERSON WHOSE NAME I RECOGNIZE.) 

Each week in real life will act as one week in game, starting from January 2040, except for special circumstances, such as wars, elections (Presidential and Midterm) and the like. 

To give more background, here is a list of presidents starting with our incumbent in RL and going up to the incumbent in game.

Nikki Haley 2032-2040*

*Haley is a centrist.

So, I'll kind of guide the game along, and (sadly) won't be able to play. However, I'll serve as a Game Moderator who will determine who has a chance at winning certain offices.

Feb. 2040- 9/25-10/2 (Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina Primaries/Caucuses)
Mar. 2040- 10/2-10/8 (Super Tuesday and majority of Primaries)
Apr. 2040- 10/8-10/15 (Some Primaries, Campaigning)
May 2040- 10/15-10/22 (Some Primaries, Campaigning)
June 2040- 10/22-10/29 (Some Primaries, Campaigning)
July 2040- 10/29-11/5 (Some Primaries, Campaigning, also potentially storyline change with 11/3 election)
Aug. 2040- 11/5-11/12 (Party Conventions)
Sep. 2040- 11/12-11/19 (Campaigning and a Debate)
Oct. 2040- 11/19-11/26 (Debates)
Nov. 2040- 11/26-12/3 (Presidential Election)
Dec. 2040- 12/3-12/10 (Transition)

Although this calendar centers on Presidential Elections, Senate Races will happen too and y'all may run for those.

Alright. Since no one seems to be responding, I'll post my first person here. I'd really appreciate responses to this so that we can run a game like this on Alternate Timelines.

Character: Stephen Williams
Homestate: Texas
Political Party: Republican
Age: 57
Biography: Stephen Williams was born in a Dallas suburb in 1982. He graduated from High School in 2000 and from University of Texas at Austin in 2004. He began work as a lawyer and served there until 2022, when he was elected to the Texas State Senate. In 2026, he was called in to represent Texas in the House of Representatives. His work in the House included passing the Amexit Act of 2027, where the United States pulled out of the United Nations among other organizations. In 2032 Nikki Haley appointed him Attorney General of the United States, where he serves until today.

Now this is what I'm going to do for the candidate's strengths and weaknesses.

FIRST REPUBLICAN NOMINEE FOR PRESIDENT
Washington DC. The first candidate for President has emerged from AG Stephen Williams. The Texan has said "I intend to keep the course of our nation steady." he said in a Press Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. As the first of likely many candidates, Williams is already a frontrunner.
