Its been reported that both Aung San and deposed President Win Myint have been charged by the military junta. The charges include breaching import and export laws, and possession of unlawful communication devices. The latter is supposed to be a walkie talkie, which shows how controlled communications are in the country. They are trivial breaches even if their true but can be used to stop people standing for election which is probably the purpose of the charges. Well i toughed they would bring up fake charges of masterminding a fraudulent election in November, but it seems they decided to pick this charge instead.
I suspect few would believe election fraud, other than failed attempts at it by the army perhaps. She might have had an old radio system in her house or it would be easy to plant one and hence provide some physical evidence.

Think that is the last thing in people mind there right now. The same way Americans did not care during the George Floyd protests. There were also plenty of riots at the time, which are probably bigger and more haphazard super-spreaders than the anti-lockdown demonstrations from before Floyd's death were.
