An experiment with multi-verse travels had gone wrong, which involves a few castles belonging to major houses from the Seven Kingdoms (before War of the Five Kings), ending up ISOTed to the world of our Earth. To be precise, the castles are ISOTed to Earth as of June 25, 1521 (the Ottoman Siege of Belgrade carried out by Suleiman the Magnificent). How will Europe or Asia react to such appearances? Here are the houses that end up in the OTL world:
1) Winterfell and House Stark ends up in the same position as Auchenharvie Castle, somewhere in North Ayrshire, Scotland.
2) Casterly Rock and House Lannister ends up in the same position as Chinon Castle, in Chinon, France.
3) Highgarden and House Tyrell ends up in the same position as Ogrodzienec Castle, in the region of the Polish Jura, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
4) Riverrun and House Tully ends up in the same position as Kalemegdan Fortress, in Belgrade (Nándorfehérvár, Kingdom of Hungary)
5) The Eyrie and House Arryn ends up in the same position as Neuschwanstein Castle, in Hohenschwangau, Duchy of Bavaria
6) Sunspear and House Martell ends up in the same position as the Ark of Bukhara, in the Khanate of Bukhara
7) Dragonstone and House Baratheon (Stannis Baratheon) ends up in the same position as Kantara Castle, in Famagusta, Cyprus. (then under Venetian control)
8) King's Landing and House Baratheon (Joffrey Baratheon) ends up in the same position as Fort di Sant'Andrea, in Venice.
9) Storm's End and House Baratheon (Renly Baratheon) ends up in the same position as Fair Head, Northern Ireland
10) Vaes Dothrak ends up in the same location as Syghanak, Kazakh Khanate.
11) Pyke and House Greyjoy ends up in the same location as Karlsvärd Castle, in Gotland, Kingdom of Sweden. (Swedish War of Liberation has already started by this point)
Don't know how this ASB thing works, so someone let me know how to fix this kind of thing.

A lot of confusion will occur. That's for sure.

It might be more of a Fanfiction though.

Quite interesting idea - will make for quite some mess locally as borders needs be redrawn. On the higher level the ISOT families have to adjust to circumstances which will lead to some interesting interaction with other nobility as Monarchs - not to say the Church or Faith!
As it is 1521 I had expected the ISOT going to Americas - both to counter the Conquistadors but your setting have much promise for an interesting Fanfic.
Nobles have much say in the early modern nations/states of the day though some Monarch may try his hand at getting more power by crusading on these arrivals. You didn't transport any to the Iberian Peninsular which would have been interesting given the state of the Empire of Charles V.

Is it just the castles or any of their hinterlands? Otherwise their going to be pretty isolated and probably fairly easy to starve out. Not to mention while I don't know the books did they have cannon? By this time our world had some fairly efficient canon so old fashioned defences, with hard walls were pretty vulnerable.
As 575 says religion is going to be an issue, especially since the reformation is in its early stages. Could either worsen the intra-Christian conflict or possibly prompt some settlement, at least for the moment, while they turn on the new heretical intruders.
Mind you if magic is still available to them it could be interesting. Not to mention if a certain woman and her three 'children' were to turn up that would complicate matters, as well as prompt definite accusations of demonic connections.

Cannons would definitely make all castles obsolete. By the time Magellan arrived in what we know as the Philippines, the castle age was done. We also have muskets compared to the medieval weapons the GoT characters have. If the fantasy creatures and the White Walkers get ISOT-ed too, then we have a medieval zombie apocalypse that would resemble Armageddon.

Early personal firearms are still pretty limited in capacity. As late as the English Civil War they still needed to be well supported by pikes and other such units but they would come as a nasty shock to GoT characters and forces.
If the white walker came along then it would probably be the end as they can 'recruit' new forces so easily.
The other question of course is if either [or worst still both] sides have infectious diseases that could run rampant through the other. This would be deadly for the cohesion of the GoT outposts and could cause a few million deaths in Europe and further afield.

True, although I might have to think about which part of the lands surrounding the ISOTed castles would go. It might be difficult to try and fit in some of the nations onto OTL Earth, since Westeros is around the size of South America, I believe. Is it just the castles or any of their hinterlands? That's going to be interesting, especially if the ISOTed castles would be literally caught between the Christians and in the case of the ISOTed Riverrun, the Muslims of the Ottoman empire. True, and in fact, the ISOTed castles would easily fall prey to gunpowder weapons. I can see Riverrun being overrun by the Ottomans, with Edmure Tully being brought before Suleiman the Magnificent. For realistic reasons, let's say I wouldn't bring in the dragons, magic, and White Walkers (and Wights as well). Well, it could either be the ISOTed to Europe, or let's try the Western Hemisphere since that might be more of an even level playing ground for both the ISOTed house and the First Nations there. House Martell and the Dothraki are the only ones who are ISOTed to Asia, BTW. Imagine seeing them interact with the Muslim khanates there (Dothraki would find common ground with the Tengri worshippers, and House Martell would have a culture shock with the Khanate of Bukhara).
