This year would mark 20 years since the live-action Scooby Doo movie.
The real-life Spooky Island was filmed in Tagalooma Resort in Australia. My friend in the U.S. Navy has been there and he went scuba diving on the wrecks.
In the film, it was depicted somewhere at the Caribbean since it was a famous college student vacation place and the fact the U.S. Coast Guard is somehow responsible for the security of the island. The end shows the island in range from police helicopters, so indicating it must be close the Florida Keys.
Barring the supernatural aside, Spooky Island would probably be an equivalent of a tropical Disneyland.
What are your thoughts?

I liked watching that movie at the time when I was a kid, but maybe just because my taste had changed, it didn't age well. I am glad to see the film's live action from a cartoon. However, when things become live actions and no longer comic, I become more critical of realism in movies and tv shows. Like, what kind of weirdo eats dog treats!? Well, for the film to be placed in the Caribbean, I don't remember there being a vast, overwhelming number of black people like the authentic Caribbean is.
Scuba diving and exploring deep sea wrecks is a lot of fun especially to be able to serve one's country in the armed forces.

Well, there is black guy in the film that acts as the typical vodoo guy and vodoo is a thing in Haiti and Louisiana so that's one indication it's in the Caribbean. We know the Caribbean is a common Spring Break destination for college students. My friend visited Tagalooma in 2019 when the USS Ronald Reagan docked in Australia. I saw his story where he walked the famous boardwalk seen in the film along with the resort that was doubled as the Spooky Island hotel.

I know that! But for one black guy to represent all the Black people living in the Caribbean doesn’t do it justice but I understand. I had to live in the Caribbean for nine months in some of the worst areas minus Haiti perhaps. I only almost ever saw Black people. Once I did see a girl that looked around my age who wasn’t African and to me, I think she looked like the most beautiful girl in the world.
The one black dude didn’t even have a Jamaican accent. However, the TV show and the movie is just fiction.
I honestly miss those days growing up what kind of breed is scooby doo I wonder?
It was kinda funny how scrappy Doo was the one behind The curtains. Puppy 🐶 power! I liked the episodes when scrappy Doo was with Scooby. When I was much younger, the original Scooby Doo’s with Air has reruns

Scooby Doo is a Great Dane.

Well in my opinion Saint Vincent and the Grenadines because its English speaking it's called the unspoiled islands for a reason, and they could build it cheaply. However, the big con if they build it there would be the oppressive heat and humidity. Dominicia (not the Dominican Republic) would be a good candidate the island is beautiful, with a nice breeze and the island has tours to watch Humpback whales. Since there were a lot of Americans the us Virgin Islands would be another candidate to build an amusement park or the host who they thought was British the island could have been maybe owned by the British

It would make more sense for Spooky Island to be situated in either the American or British side. After all, citizens from both sides can freely cross without visas. Speaking of such, I might experience my own Spooky Island event this Halloween weekend on October 29-30. There's this camping by the beach music festival going to be held in northern Cebu. I plan to travel solo to meet new friends and expand my horizon.

The Scooby Doo island what ever it’s called is a made up island and there technically are really small islands where the governmens of Jamaica,Bahamas,Barbados’s own the really small islands of little importance.

The Scooby Doo island what is a made up island and there technically are like really small islands but the government of will say Jamaica own and just other places like Barbados owned them. Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, or Turks and Caicos could also be likely candidates.

I'm going to my first beach party on April. This will really have Spooky Island vibes.
