Those weapons would be a few decades behind in the case of a Man In The High Castle ISOT. My fault, forgot that the Imperial Guard are the regular grunts of the Warhammerverse, i should have meant, what is needed to kill one Space Marines by forces who use current weapons we have. ...I honestly don't know. The Space Marines are so damned superhuman that they probably make Captain America look like a harmless toddler. Furthermore, the fact we're sending them to The Man In The Castle means that they're heading into an alternate 1960s, which tends to have less advanced technology than we OTL 21st Century people in general. And that would include weaponry and wargear.

You know what would be strange if a single space marine, kills Hitler, takes over the Nazi Reich and then, god help us, creates a intergalactic Nazi Reich.

You know what would be strange if a single space marine, kills Hitler, takes over the Nazi Reich and then, god help us, creates a intergalactic Nazi Reich. Even if that somehow happened, the rest of the Reich would be all over that lone Marine the instant they got word of the Fuhrer's sudden murder. So I doubt they'd be receptive enough to make him their leader. Plus, one Marine ain't nearly enough to establish an intergalactic Reich. A whole Chapter that somehow forges an alliance with the Nazis, however, could be a start. I think another interesting ISOT idea would be 'Darth Vader in The Man In The High Castle'. I already mentioned sending Grand Moff Tarkin over there to become one of the Reich's top military leaders, and he most certainly has the personality and experience needed for such a role. They didn't name the Tarkin Doctrine after old Wilhuff for nothing.

'WI Every Adult Forgot How to Read--Forcing Literate Kids/Teens to Re-teach Them?' This is one of the ASBs where the situation would really suck.

As for where it could crash, maybe in the White House's vegetable garden?

Sorry, lordroel, I don't fully understand what you mean here. Are you saying the falling UFO won't hit the President? Or, that he won't care much about the totaled White House vegetable garden? Or, something else that I'm probably missing here?

The White House staff, however, are sure to be miffed once they get past the fact that, oh you know, an unidentified flying object full of goddamn aliens from outer space just crashed there. I wonder how The Donald himself would react, even if he personally cares little for the totaled vegetable garden.

He would likely start a intergalactic trade war, make a good deal ore build a giant wall around Earth to keep the aliens out.

I'm...unsure how the engineering and logistics of a planetary wall would work. And what use would an interstellar trade war be assuming that the aliens don't rely on Earth for any economic reasons?

We instate tariffs of course. Or rather, the US does. And a wall is simple. You build a wall around the country and then put a roof over it.

Like what they had done in the Judge Dredd universe with Mega City 1.
