I suppose so. I was, however, using little green men posting on YouTube as one example of what I initially meant and not a blanket demonstration of how all visitors from beyond the stars would behave if they established a presence on social media.

Governments around the world would be investigating the situation in a heartbeat, of course.

No, A. Jones actually said those things. If you check out the Joe Rogan podcast where he was featured as a guest, you'll hear about the second and third conspiracies--and more.

That is like asking "What if WW2 America react to modern literature?". There are hundreds of anime out there and they cover a very wide variety of genres and tones, you need to be more specific. Even between a popular shounen and a popular kids anime there is a sea of difference.
