What if the time traveler uses the time machine, and travel back through time and destroy a prototype toy that launched a girl's toy line and return to his time? I know this is the Frivolous ASB thread, but this is the beyond frivolous what you have posted here.

Pointless and making a mockery of this website for reasons unknown.

Well that is why there is this thread James G, but i had not expect that somebody would be able to come up with a Frivolous idea so Frivolous that it needs a Extreme Frivolous ASB thread to put in, which i am NOT going to do

'Modern Commercials Air On 1950s TV'. Many would wind up censored or outright banned as soon as broadcasting stations and authorities realize what's happening.
But the full-color clarity, realistic sound quality, and modern directing would blow downtimer audiences away, I'm sure.

At least as it applies to the United States, colored TV was in its experimental stages during the '50s. It only became widespread in the '60s and '70s, and sale of black-and-white sets even continued into the '80s.

What type of commercials, once who show some glimpse of 2019 ore some who show some comedy actors selling stuff the people of 1950 do not need.

Any 2010s+ commercials, whether they provide glimpses of the present day (which they do by default) and/or advertise stuff that 50s people would have no use for (i.e. the latest iPhone).

So what could 1950s people learn then from 2019 commercials. Well, they'd get glances at life in 2019. They could likely deduce that full-color, high-sound quality media is commonplace if the countless commercials they're seeing have those. Featured technology like smartphones and sleeker cars would no doubt be noticed. And the presence of then-repressed groups in modern advertising might allow them to deduce that civil rights has been passed since the Fifties. That's all I can say for now.

And then they say, damn where are the flying cars. That’d sure disappoint them, alongside the lack of globally ubiquitous nuclear power and commonplace robotic servants. However, the emergence of largely unexpected digital technologies like the internet, personal computers and smart devices ought to strongly surprise them. Not that they’d approve of most of the content that can be found on the WWW these days.

'All Water Becomes Fruit Juice'. Yeaaaaah, this ends catastrophically for our water supply and cataclysmically for ecosystems across the globe.
Mass death by fruit juice, yay.

Would we die if we only drink Fruit Juice instead of water. I'm not sure; fruit juice contains some water in of itself. But even if we don't, we can count on flora and fauna of all kinds dying off and the ecosystems they inhabit getting ravaged. No need for strictly human casualties (which are likely to happen anyway) to bring about a pointless mass death scenario.
