Aguinaldo’s death

On April 26, 1898, the US Navy Squadron carrying Aguinaldo would have a fire causing the Ship to sink, the casualties would include Emilio Aguinaldo and George Dewey, the immediate result of this was the disintegration of the revolt of the Filipinos and the creation of new countries from the Philippines.

The supporters of Andres Bonifacio did not need to pretend that they are for Aguinaldo and they would be the ones who would rule Luzon and despite the fact the Americans would win the war but securing the Philippines after the treaty of Paris would be a hell for them.

Besides that the Supporters of Andres Bonifacio hated everything that reminds them of Spain and would welcome the protestant priests and pastors to change the religious landscape in the area which would happen in Luzon which would have a protestant majority in the second half of the 20th century as the Aglipayans and the other Protestants would compete in gaining the faith of the people there, only Ilocos would have a catholic majority and Visayas and Mindanao would have a catholic majority as well.

The Americans would find out that it would be easy if they annex the states one by one and entice them to be annexed by the Americans first as protectorates which they did after they bought the Philippines in the Treaty of Paris and dissolved them did to the Provisional government in Luzon, Federal Republic of Visayas and Zamboanga Republic, a process that would take a decade to complete.

The Beginning for the New Countries after the balkanization of the Former Philippine Islands after the Americans started giving autonomy to the country on 1935 would be the drowning of Emilio Aguinaldo.

Notes

The drowning of Aguinaldo kills the possible nationhood of the colony and the Philippines would cease to exist sometime after 1935, the Visayan and Mindanaoans would not like the Magdiwang faction ruling Luzon and staying dominant politics there.

Quezon would fail to establish Tagalog in Visayas and Mindanao even if he would be the first semi-independent ruler of the Philippines.

Antonio Luna
On October 18, 1898, Ysidra, the wife of Antonio Luna would give birth to a son, who would be named after him which would make his older sister, Felicidad, and his father, Antonio Luna happy, Antonio Luna would be made the advisor of Makabulos, the leader of the Provisional Luzon republic, Makabulos, during that time the Provisional Luzon republic would fight against the Americans and that was before the terms of the Treaty of Paris got finalized and the peace treaties afterwards would slowly dissolve the provisional Luzon republic.
Luna and Makabulos would be popular among the people of Luzon and the Native Nobility of Luzon, despite being hated by the colonial nobility.



Antonio Luna would not know that his son would be an unpopular president in the future due to him dying peacefully in the 1930s, although both Makabulos and Luna would see the fruits of their labor in Quezon.

Beginning of the End
Quezon would start campaigning for the independence of the Philippines but the Nation would now be divided between the hardline nobility of Luzon and the Nobility of Visayas and Mindanao, the majorly population of Luzon being supporters of Bonifacio and largely protestant and catholic population of Visayas and Mindanao would argue regarding the policy and the future of the country, despite the cooperation of Osmeña and Quezon but that was the end.
During this time the protestants would have held a sway over Luzon or Selurong and Catholicism would start to be the minority of the country and this animosity would be one of the things that would tear the former Spanish colony apart aside from Luzon itself being a Magdiwang stronghold.
The Visayans would have a great sentiment in support of their Federal republic which was dissolved by the Americans which would conflict with Osmeña and Quezon’s goals.

Interwar ripples
During the Interwar period people of Luzon or the Tagalogs would be hated by the Visayans and Mindanaoans to no end due to Bonifacio’s plans to extend the Tagalog identity to the Visayans and Mindanaoans and neither Quezon and Osmena would be able to fix the conflict of the country that they had created and nor peace is even possible between the two, the people of Luzon have shifted confessions and would have majorly abandoned the Catholic religion for a long time.
Clearly, the Catholic religion is majorily abandoned in favor of the population being either protestant or unreligious due to the Katipunan revolt having factions that are against the Catholic religion, this would also be aided by the anti-spanish sentiment which would force the mestizos to either integrate with the indigenous population or migrate out of the Luzon region and the anti Spanish sentiment would also result in the migration of criolos and peninsulares out of the area.

I also realized that both Aguinaldo, Quezon and Bonifacio are horrible people, they don't want self determination for Visayas and Mindanao.
