Have a game you have played or are excited to play? Please tell the rest of the forum about it!
The game I have been following for the last months is XCOM 2, sequel to what is generally considered one of the best turn-based strategy games in recent years.
From what I have seen of this game so far is that it seems like Firaxis has taken XCOM: Enemy Unknown and just turned everything up to eleven. I am really looking forward tp this game and are praying my laptop is able to run it.

Never have played Xcom before, like strategy games more, i am a big fan of a old and now free game called Warzone 2100 which can be downloaded here ( press here on link). Also like Civilization series (all but the new civilization beyond earth game), Red alert series and World of Warships,

Now I will return to the college town I live in, so I'll have no access to my gaming computer.
Sporcle and writing will have to provide that niche.

But I really enjoyed XCOM: EU and it's gameplay, it made me care about soldiers with no invidual lines or personalities (which is unfortantly more then what I can say about many novels coming out today.)

I have a old laptop where the only game installed is Warzone 2100, i take it with me if i go on vacation. I recently bought myself Star Wars Battlefront, toughed it would be something like Battlefield 4, i was disappointed, now i like playing Fallout 4 and WoW.

The only game I really enjoyed playing lately was Rise of the Tomb Raider. That was a great game.

I had a love-hate relationship With the crafting system, the story is less "Lara has the worst luck ever" and much lighter, the Tombs are still as good as ever (though how that Bysantine war galley ended up in that ice cave I will never know) and the graphics make full use of the XOne's more powerful hardware.

Have a PS4 at the moment, before that i had the XBOX 360 but my brother who is a PlayStation fan convince me to get the PS4 so we could play games together.

Its looks like Homeworld in the Warhammer universe or am i wrong. You are right in that this is a game focused on Space Battles but the similarities pretty much end there. The player is supposed to defend the Gothic Sector against a Black Crusade With the fleet elements he has availeble and, if neceserry, With exsterminatus.

There are currently three trailers availeble for the game on Youtube so you can check those out. There are also some articles on Game Watcher which go a little more in depth. If you enjoyed Dawn of War then you might be interested in hearing that it got two DLCs and a sequel, which got an exspansion and a sequal off its own. Just check on Steam.
