Do you think it Will be good? Well i most likely will try the demo on the Switch when it comes out to be sure, but it looks nice so far what i have seen and read about it. And even if it is bad we Will always have the "Female trainer murders the English Language" meme.

Another new Pokemon game has been released, this time set in England.
England, Scotland or Britain since the main character seems to be distinctly Scottish?

Britain, the main character being Scottish is just a meme because the thought of a cute girl having such a filthy mouth is hilarious.

Well, I uninstalled Endless Legend today. If you don't know what this is, it's basically "Civilization with fantasy races instead of historic empires". I got the game in 2014, then played it a bit for a couple of months, then made brief periodic returns to it every now and then (which never ended well), and now I've finally given up on it. I just couldn't get the hang of it - and, for years, I wasn't sure why. But, now, I think I know. In short, it's because it doesn't offer the kind of gameplay that its fantasy themes led me to expect from it. The game's thematic content called for roleplaying, but the gameplay goals called for powergaming - and I wasn't able to do both at once. I generally prefer roleplaying to powergaming: I do enjoy the powergaming and optimisation in certain contexts, but not in games like this that make me want to roleplay them >_< . It's very sad, because I love the effort that went into the art, and the various factions - and giving them all properly distinct playing styles. But, I guess this is just going to have to go into the bin of "Games I want to like, but can't" .

Never heard of it either but don't vary much in my gaming. By power-gaming do you mean needing to spend a lot of time working out best strategies for things like research, social policies, military production and things like that? Haven't heard the term before but guessing that might be what you mean.

Seems not to be a Switch version of it. I am sure it Will eventually make its way to Steam. But if you are going to play it I recomend you start at the beginning or else you are going feel completly lost what everybody is talking about.
