There may be times where tagging someone into a thread is necessary for other reasons, but not simply to try and drum up responses. I'm just reminding u about something you told me you would think about. It's fine if you don't have an answer to it. But if you tell me you're going to get back to something I think it's normal to remind you about it. |

You do not need to remind them, this is a small forum, any thread that is posted in and has not been read by a member is marked as new, thus give members the time to read and if they want to comment if they want on their own, sometimes members just not feel not the need to comment in a thread anymore as there might be new once they want to post in. |

How about this:
1.) Leave the matter for now. I will try to turn my thought to it over the next couple of weeks, in between getting back to health and university
2.) I'll then post something up, rather than you seeking to remind me

And this is a reason why i have said that tagging ore asking members if they could respond is something i do not like here on the forum. But i am going to end the discussion regarding the tagging matter as it has brought the thread of rails. |
