At the age of 19, on 268 BCE, Archimedes starts the Industrial Revolution right at his home city of Syracuse
Due to being surrounded by powerful neighbors (Rome, Carthage, Greek cities, Egypt, Anatolia, Persia, etc) Syracuse would support Industrialization to maintain independence and dominant the Medditerranean economy.
Don't know how the civilizations of thus time would react to Archimedes and his Industrial Revolution

This sounds ASB to me. The industrial revolution seemed to start around the late 1600-1700s. To have it happen about 1800 years before needs some explanation. Are we talking about factories mass-producing weapons in the third century or just better technological advancement?
I could see something along those lines. Something akin to what we saw in the 1700 to 1800s no that I feel is ASB and should be moved to that side of the forum.

Ok so based on when in the 1700s you're pulling from you could have farming speeded by things such as the cotton gin and other things that aided farmers in growing bigger crops with less manpower. - Here is a link that covers some of the things you could use in this ASB post of yours. Unsure how useful some of the things will be for the given area but I'm sure something akin to those could be worked out. Neverthelass I do look forward to seeing what comes from this idea. www.britannica.com/list/inventors-and-inventions-of-the-industrial-revolution
