Harold Lloyd is OK. Buster Keaton is the best.

Last night I watched the passion of Joan of arc which, is pretty historically accurate as the trial detected in the movie script is based off the actual historical records of the trial. She proved very witty and her only two things in my opinion that went completely against her was her dressing up in men’s clothes but someone could say so she could fight and her claim of seeing Saint Michael which she didn’t give physical description. I didn’t know that she actually recanted , and then repented saying that her voice didn’t come from God . She repentance, and what she did say she did very bad thing by saying she lied so she could save herself from being burned at the stakeso her voice did came from God above she siad I watch the Battleship Potemkin (1925),by Sergei Eisenstein. www.rbth.com/arts/332779-top-soviet-silent-cinematicI think I’m going to at least watch a silent film. Sure, every day for now on if I’m not gonna watch the full movie.

There are many days I’m just not in the mood to laugh, which is hard to find a silent film, where people are not going to laugh watching them

www.wowt.com/2024/03/08/exclusive-100-years-later-long-lost-silent-film-found-omaha-parking-lot/More good news about finding lost silent films I watched Nosferatu which I remember my twin brother was on the academic team, which I can’t remember the question but my brother answer Nosferatu he got it right. Well, the only reason many other people in America well the world know who knows noseferatu or what he is is from the American cartoon SpongeBob. The silent film I watched it during the day I thought it was boring and stopped when I was at most halfway through the film probably not that much. It’s hard for me to have the same attention span when I’m watching a movie during the day. I have watched movies when I just woke up but my real success toward having enough attention span to watch a movie is at night which it relaxes me. Nosferatu has plot holes in my opinion when the city or town of Germany was facing vampire bites before the vampires even came to the city, at least shown in the film. Thus the mean unethical clerk, who looks like Ebeneezer Scrooge goes insane before hutter has returned home. I personally don’t care for a horror as they keep me up at night when I do see them. Yet the film I was glad I got to see you. It is more enjoyable than watching some more recent films I have seen such as the new Napoleon. Also, at least as far as the screen goes, the vampire does some of his work during the day at least shown on the screen. I remember when the sailors were opening the coffins which if they suspect these vampires are nocturnal the best time to do it is during the day. I enjoyed the watch in the film so I would rank the film OK. The film is better to watch during the night, even without my preferences to when I watch films. I saw the film at my home as it was rented from my public library

A real silent movie needs to be accompanied by a piano player. I once saw one like that in Munich.

Wavering between Chaplin and Laurel&Hardy here. Still haven't watched much by Keaton and Lloyd. Or Pat & Patachon.
At least I managed to watch "Battleship Potemkin" meanwhile.

So, finally started watching "Safety Last". A good movie, I should have watched it earlier. Funny how his character's just called "the Boy" - does this happen in all of his movies?
