I've had this book idea in mind for some years and finally finished the manuscript and am hoping to publish later this year. I would welcome some comment and feedback on the premise and the narrative from people interested in alternate history. Premise: Britain loses the Falklands War and Margaret Thatcher is not re-elected. NATO withers and the U.S. withdraws into an isolationism. Britain and parts of Western Europe transition to socialist republics under a continuing USSR influence. A secret long-term plan to restore democracy is threatened by the nation's extensive security apparatus. If this scenario interests you then please follow the link to download the first chapters and consider subscribing so I can let you know when the book is published. Tell me what you think. Many Thanks www.maclarenassociates.co.uk/lionheartmaclarenj
