To clarify: "X" refers to a group of people - ethnic, "racial", religious, something similar - you choose it.
The point is:
1. You become invulnerable, but only regarding group X - they simply won't use weapons against you. 2. Neither can they ask their allies, mercenaries, professional killers etc. to fight you. 3. Nonviolent resistance of all kind is still allowed to them. 4. Anyone who joins your army will have the same quasi-invulnerability. 5. The ASBs will do this only once.
Which X do you choose? Will you make an invasion of them?

Interesting moral dilemma. The potential for you to if you wished pretty much wipe out, enslave or simply conquer any group you wish. How well could any of us resist such a temptation?
I could see some possibly loop-holes both for you and for your choosen victims. I.e. a) Does 1) prevent them using non-violent methods to restrain you? that seems to be hinted at by 3). For instance some sort of restraint or simply framing you for some crime.
b) Or could neutral groups to do so. After all if someone's going on a conquest spree it wouldn't just be X and their allies who might be worried by your actions. c) Can you rely on potential allies/people joining your 'army' not turning against you or at least choosing their own path you might disagree with? Or would they lose their invulnerability. d) Could you pick humanity as a whole as group X which would leave you possibly isolated but with potential power over just about everybody. Or anyone you consider a threat to the common good of humanity.
e) Could X be a political group i.e. the Tory Party, the Chinese Communist Party for instance?
I'm not sure what I would do if tempted with this sort of power. Although I can get angry at times I'm not that comfortable with the idea of going on some sort of killing spree although there are a hell of a lot of people I think the world and humanity as a whole would be better off with them at least removed from any power. Difficult situation both morally and practically.

a) Yes, any non-violent means are definitely allowed. b) Yes, everyone who isn't a member of group X can still fight you and your army. c) Good question... they can definitely turn against you, if you are a crappy leader. d) All of humanity? No, definitely not. e) Political and religious movements can overlap, but somehow I don't have a good feeling about this.
And after all, we don't have ASBs.
