What if the Iraqi army in 1991 was armed up to modern (2020) standards?
So in total:
-800,000 troops
Tanks: 3,000 T-72B3M mod. 2016, 1,000 T-80BVM
Air defence: S-400, S-300, Buk-M2, Tor, Pantsir S1 - a modern, layered AD network
Air Force - 24 Su-57, 96 Su-35, 72 Su-34
Ballistic missiles - Iskander
Drones: Geran-2, ZALA Lancet
Of course it's going to be very bloody for the coalition - but can Iraq actually defeat it's enemies? What if it does?

2023 is current events, we do not do that, you could do 2003 which is a date where we know a lot about the Iraqi Army and its hardware. All the equipment stated is available in 2020 so I might just change the date |
