What if the Islamic Golden Age never declined but instead led to even greater achievements?
How could it's decline be avoided? One might say avoiding the destruction of Baghdad in 1258 should be the key but I disagree - since the Golden Age was already in ddcline by that time.

You've heard of Turtledove's "Through Darkest Europe"? In this story, Muslim theologian Algazel decided for science, but Thomas Aquinas did the opposite. Just the other way round as in OTL. Maybe that's a way?

You've heard of Turtledove's "Through Darkest Europe"? In this story, Muslim theologian Algazel decided for science, but Thomas Aquinas did the opposite. Just the other way round as in OTL. Maybe that's a way? Is Al Ghazali as important as claimed?
