The argument of the article, as with earlier comments is that the problem is not the film but the stupid and inaccurate way that Netflix advertised it. I haven't see the film so can't tell whether or not there is a problem with the film but the article does make an interesting case.

It sexualises children, that is all you need to know. More importantly, they are saying this is how pre-teenage girls discover their feminine side by doing lewd acts.

I repeat my point. If "it" is Netflix adverts for the film then you seem to be right. If your referring to the film there the articles posted suggests your wrong.
Have you seen the film or only the Netflix ads that seem to be the cause of the controversy?

So it seems a lot of movies like Wonder Women 1984 keep being delayed, normally I would have been to see a movie a couple times already this year, now in 2020 I have seen no movie in the cinema.

Must admit I haven't been to a cinema for a couple of decades at least. Tend to wait until they end up on TV so generally some way behind everybody else on that line. However have no problem waiting as I rarely have much free time nowadays.

I have only seen parts of this movie when it showed on the local ABS-CBN channel dubbed in Tagalog. Even worse, the channel is known to cut several scenes. I need to watch this movie in full length again.

I saw It Follows last night. Really good horror film without the typical, predictable outcome. It is worth a watch.

I grew up with Terminator, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Die Hard. Discovered Star Trek much later (not born american or english speaking).
It is quite heartbreaking to think all these franchises present lies in ruins.
At least they still haven't ruined Back to the future...

At least they still haven't ruined Back to the future... A movie franchises that should never be rebooted, a classic true and true.

I enjoyed Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Die Hard for me should not have extended. Star Wars Disney trilogy is just terrible while the last Terminator: Dark Fate was blatant SJW propaganda. Yes you are right, Back to the Future should remain as is.

I finally saw Black Mass yesterday. Not all that great but it wasn't bad either. 6/10.
Researched Jurrasic Park and it still holds up well. 9/10.
And finally, I rewatched my favourite film (or one of them), The Town. Ben Affleck, Jon Ham, Jeremy Renner etc all portrayed their characters excellently and that Boston accent is just outstanding. I highly recommend it.
