Yep, that is right, very fun for those who are vegetarians. ...Uh-huh. Somehow, I’m on the fence as to whether meat-lovers can say the same in this scenario. Well Meat lovers also eat vegetable, i assume ore you are taking about meatganist.

'1776 British Navy To 2020'.
If crew are included then their going to be shocked by the drastic changes. Also potential for some nasty clashes as you would have British warships in places no longer under British control including the US, Menorca and of course all over much of the commonwealth, as well as a fair number that would be at sea.
Now if it was the 2020 RN back to 1776, while they would have a limited life as they couldn't be supported long how they reacted to such an event and how 1776 reacted to them would be interesting.

Yeah, neither scenario would be pleasant for the involved time travelers, would it? In the case of the 1770s British Navy being sent to 2020, those who survive the likely confrontations with modern military forces (and, of course, get crushed faster than they can say "for the Empire!") would have a helluva time assimilating into modern British society. If it's already difficult for modern people who live in another region of the world to do that, then, well...

What if all Green parties in the world became the most dedicated and fanatical supporters of Nuclear Energy.

I wonder if the sudden one-eighty will gain significant media traction beyond maybe thirty minutes of fame. Hopefully, this mass-mind change won’t fade into the news cycle within a few weeks’ time.

Or are you referring to their sudden "flip-flop" on the issue weirding people out?

That also, but most parties that stood for the environment now doing the opposite of that and support something like Nuclear Energy.

That also, but most parties that stood for the environment now doing the opposite of that and support something like Nuclear Energy. Isn’t nuclear power arguably safer and more environmentally friendly than other options like coal, oil and even supposedly “clean” sources, though? My understanding is that it has net-zero emissions and, even despite the various meltdowns that have happened, the plants in question used outdated reactors—not to mention the fact that lots of people and wildlife are endangered by pollution from sources we use already (i.e. oil spills).
